A•smoke filters incorporate three filter steps whereat the two first filter steps are self-draining in order to allow continuous operation.
All our filters are fire-tested and have a low noise level.

Why use an oil smoke filter?
•  Oil smoke is hazardous to your health.
•  Oil smoke causes slippery floors and collects oil and dust on machines and walls.
•  Oil smoke can lead to coating in ventilation pipes, a potential fire risk, and in heat exchangers, so reducing the efficiency of heat recovery.
•  The cutting oil which drains from the filter can be reused.
•  The amount of oil smoke polluted air discharged must not exceed the prescribed limits.
Contaminated air is sucked into the inlet (1) in the lower section of the filter unit and passes through filter stage 1 (2), where the majority of the oil particles are trapped.Filter stage 1 gets saturated and the oil drops into the bottom of the filter unit, which acts as a collection container. From there, it is pumped (8) (accessory, not A•smoke20) or drained away.

The air passes through an additional Absolent filter (3), where the remaining bigger particles are filtered out and on via a HEPA filter (4) to the external fan. Generally the air is now free from particles and can be returned directly to the premises.

Compact Oil Mist Filters
A•mist6C works after the same principle as A•mist10C, but here, we always recommend the Hepa filter for an
exhaust level of 99.97%. The filter unit has analogue pressure gauges for the two filter stages.
Contaminated air is sucked into the inlet (1) in the lower section of the filter
unit and passes through an Absolent filter (2), where most of the oil
particles are arrested. Before the filter becomes saturated with oil, the oil
is drained down to the bottom of the unit that serves as a collection vessel.
The oil is then conveyed back to the machine, to a receptacle or to a
central purification system through the return oil pipe (3).
The air is sucked through the fan (4) and passes on through the HEPA
filter (5). By now, the air is cleaned from particles and can usually be
returned directly to the premises.
Oil Mist Filters
Absolent's oil mist filter A•mist guarantees a high separating efficiency, which does not

The filter cassettes are self-draining and have a very long operating life, which means
minimal servicing and maintenance costs. A•mist filter cassettes can usually be
washed.
The filtered air can usually be returned to the premises, which saves heating or
cooling energy, and the returned oil can be used for recycling.
A•mist oil mist filters are well suited to applications such as:
• Grinding (cutting fluid emulsion)
• Turning (cutting fluid emulsion)
• Milling (cutting fluid emulsion)
• Electrical discharge machining
• Machining, using straight oil and moderate loads.
