Case Study : Eliminating Exhaust Car Fume in Training Room
Requirement
HYUNDAI is one of the car manufacturing companies that has production plants in several countries. One of the plants in Indonesia requires an Exhaust system for their Training Room.
The issue was when Hyundai testing the car, in the training room, the emissions that come out from car’s exhaust was polluting the operator,the idea was to transfer it to open air outside the room.
Challenges
- The traffic around the training room was very high. In such circumstances, suction hood shall then be designed with high flexibility.
- The tools shall be able to overcome the populating fume comes from car’s exhaust at high rpm
Solution
- Apply 4 units of Hose Reel drum for suction at 4 points specific outlets
- Apply Quick-fit Ducting, connected to each reels that flowing the fume to outside area.Quick-fit has also been giving an easierducting maintenance, when some material stuck in the middle of the ducting, the operator may open the clam of the ducting where indicating the material stuck inside that ducting, then make a simple cleaning.
- Apply Exhaust fan brand REITZ capacity2400 cmh, which be equipped with Inverter to adjust the fan speed when it required.
